Hey guys and girls‼️
Hope you all had a good week. Blessings for the week to come. It's been 18 days ago that I came to Hive.
It was definitely easier than my first days on steemit more than 3 years ago. What made it a bit easier, was support from former friends and communities. That is big plus for me.
As mentioned before I have to make some money from my posts as I have no income currently due to the lock down. After 18 days I have almost 20 Hive dollars in my wallet. With the current dollar Rand exchange rate if I cash it out I will have about R320.
If I slice my budget very thin then that R320 will be able to buy me essentials like bread, milk, eggs, margarine and even some chicken to last me a week. So yes, it will definitely help. If I can make that in 7 days it would be great.
A big thanks to everyone that voted on my posts this past 18 days. 🥰 You are helping to feed me and hubby.😁 No jokes.
I have experimenting with posting in several communities. I had no luck in OCD or in GEMS. My posts is probably too "blonde" or "shallow" for them. This is not meant in a bad way, I enjoy reading some posts in OCD but I realise that because English is my second language, I will never be that fluently and well versed as most of the writers there.
I think I have found some routine and rhythm in my posting. I do my Christian post almost daily or every other day. That posts is not about the earnings but about God and Christian fellowship.
I had some good engagement from @simms50 which was meaningful and enjoyed very much.
@mhm-phillipines, a friend from before also engaged, good to catch up with him.
@nextgen622 do a open Church post once a week where there is some Christian engagement. Thanks for the effort 🤗

Come take part in some fellowship there.
I have been commenting on some other Christian posts but up to now it hasn't lead to more engagement on my own posts. 🙄 But I will keep on reading and commenting on Christian content and voting once my HP is up some more.
TWO UPS was my weekly post in @familyprotection and a weekly post in
@education where I get support because of my former engagement.
I love to take pictures and I tried the photography community with one or two posts but I was not happy with the response there. 🙁🙁🙁
Then I found MyPictureDay challenge last week which I enjoyed very much.

Through a post of @article61 (also a friend from before that supports me now - thank you 🤗), I came across
https://pinmapple.com/
So I pinned MyPictureDay to the map and got some great upvotes from their curation team.
‼️Go check it out‼️
Then lastly my Ulog posts was supported by @surpassinggoogle - thank you 🤗and some of my friends before. I also get upvotes from
@teamsa and
@lizelle commented on some of my posts - thank you 🥰 I read some other Ulogs and comment and they replied but I don't really see them engage on my Ulogs. I like to read
@looftee posts and we had some engagement on his posts and on some of my Ulogs.
@punkblogs commented on a few of my posts. Thank you, you two. 💯
But I enjoy posting here, it's a safe non judgemental space for me.
Most of us write to be heard and if people don't read the posts and commenting then I will start wondering is it worth it❓❓
But I am learning about new communities daily. Only time will tell.
Wishing you a blessed week.
