Yes, as you say, life is full of high and lows. There are a few of your comments
that caught my attention and are very true.

The ugly comes out eventually, you just have to be patient. Life tends to stress us at times and we "slip" and show what lays beneath.

My 2nd hubby (first one died) told me before marriage, I don't know him, he has a bad side. I told him I like this side, don't want to get to know the other one.
Going on 14 years and luckily the bad slipped out not often and he is giving the bad poison bit by bit. 🙂

Early relationships are often lies, as each person is trying to impress the other. Time shakes the truth out.
