Stand up to women-kind? (squashed like a bug and have your reputation destroyed)

you're generalizing, and that's unfair. It's the same as saying all men are rapists who beat women.

Should the man sacrifice himself for nothing, and a group that hates him, spits on him, tells him that he is everything that is wrong with the world?

Who is this group? Vain, faux feminist social justice warriors on the Internet? I suppose I am a member of woman-kind, and I wouldn't even consider treating a man like that. Nor would any of the women I know. Maybe women in America are a lot more extremized, I don't know. I hope it's not the case, though, because that's sad news for America.

It is all the interactions being neutral at best, horrifyingly negative at worst.

I'm sad you see things this way. No offence, but I hope you are proven wrong in this, and soon. If a man's interactions have all been neutral, then that man has never loved, and been loved, and that's a tragedy. But that scenario has, in my read of it, two endings: either he is brave enough to accept that, although he may have been dealt a terribly shitty hand by fate, he must still try, or he takes another look at himself. No narrative where one person comes out the wronged blameless person is accurate.

I wanna keep hoping in humanity. Even when men are assholes, and women are cunts. 'Cause not all of them are. And if we stop hoping and fighting, then we've lost, and they've won. That's all it takes, really. :)
