Bare womb inside her midriff skinny
Press my pinky into the baby that we made
Mold him like clay 'cept I was never good at pots
So instead, I make out a person
Mamma hums in pain, whisper inside her bellybutton
I don't mean to hurt you, but I'm not myself
Today. Come again tomorrow, or never again
'Cause it's decision time. Look up at mamma
Keep my baby brother safe. She looks sad.
This strange old lady with expanse skin.
Looks like who are you, and I'm all yeah,
Who are me? Mamma hits me overhead
With a frying pan of oiling boil. I yelp
And baby cries with me. Run rings around her rosy
Marry Mary, merry-go-round. Hide-n-seek.
I was a hide-n-seek man when I was a kid.
Wish I could stay. See baby grow to be me
Be her, but not we. But gotta hide now,
Cause this was never who I was meant to be.

You know I don't write poems. Just things. Random hide and seek for when my mind boils over.
