Not really. Just in my head.
One of my all-time favorite bands released their new album, to everyone's shock last night. I say shock because everyone expected it to happen in a week or so, when they're having this huge anniversary concert.
Well, nope. Last night, at around 1 AM, full album was up on YouTube, so obviously, goodbye sleep, goodbye any semblance of peace. I sat down to listen to it. Like an orgasm inside your ears, it was. Seriously, the most incredible, mind-blowing poetry I've ever heard. It's always seemed incomprehensible to me why they don't study this sort of music in schools - there is so much imagery, such brilliance.
It was literally like word-fireworks inside your own mind. And as an artist, it was even more awe-inspiring, to think that someone out there thought to put those specific words in that specific order.
Kinda makes everything else feel meaningless, you know?
