I made this painting with one simple inspiration, crab cakes, and making good on what the name implies. I often find myself day dreaming of delicious baked goods and sweet little tide pool cuties and was excited when this idea finally came scuttling to mind. I'm not really sure if I painted him with the idea of him looking for hug or valiantly defending his scoops of vanilla, but I did paint him using acrylic paints and on stretched canvas. hope you enjoy! xoxo
