heartbeet, part "beet"
“There would seem to be nothing more obvious, more tangible and palpable than the present moment. And yet it eludes us completely. All the sadness of life lies in that fact. In the course of a single second, our senses of sight, of hearing, of smell, register (knowingly or not) a swarm of events and a parade of sensations and ideas passes through our head. Each instant represents a little universe, irrevocably forgotten in the next instant.” -M.K
heartbeet. beetroot.
beet me. beet us. be us.
beetroot. heartbeet.
it's magnificent when a single moment, or conjoined moments, with a random, or perhaps not so random, person in the world, could enlighten you and plaster a smile on your face - for what feels like eternity.
i found my mandala, tucked behind the intricate laces of chance encounters.
dreamers, the beating hearts of each individual universe calls for your imagination. imagine, the possibility of running your fingers through her hair under lemon trees, running off to the seaside without any notice and seeing your little ones building sandcastles with a tint of orange on the horizon. rejoice at the infinite possibilities. of humanity. of people. of roots. back to basics.

my window rests with open arms, the dawn breathes quietly.
all is calm. tranquil. peaceful.
my heart hums along to the sounds of grace.
the rhythm of generosity.
the compassionate roar and the kind chirping.
perhaps it's time to close my eyes.
time to recapture all the lived moments.
of today. yesterday. the day before yesterday.
we've been blessed with a few more hours, still.
the mode i'm operating on now is: grateful.
thank you, universe.
my awakening has been a blissful and inspiring one.
