However today was a little different. I talked to my employer and he confirmed that I am no longer in the schedule/ rotation. Effectively I can with the shifts I want provided they are shifts he needs. He also agreed to pay me license fees provided I worth 24 days a year (2 days a month. I may not be retired... But I'm no longer truly tied to a daily work schedule. In the photo the are two more things. * A building being built in the background * The Moon in the sky Kind of symbolic. I'm leaving one thing and building another (retirement life) and the moon to show my day is almost done. ... After work time to go home. Added steps to my day. Of course most of my steps were the walk with the dog. By the time he went out it was dark and the accident had been cleaned up. My life isn't quite my own yet as I still have homestay students for another two days then a big birthday party for my sons 20th.. but after that? Fully free to get my body back in shape... I hope... Hooray
