Did you read my blog on the toaster?
No, please send me a link and I will, or I'll spend half the day looking for it! :D
There are many things that I would like to "buy it once". My kitchen knives and sharpening gear was that. A good quality aluminium ladder is that (also, probably something you don't want to cheap out on, if you're actually using it!).
What I hate is replacing hoses. I got some nice, rather expensive hose for the garden which is meant to be UV stable, but it isn't. So it is just a bridge between the tap and the misting system for the garden, until it springs a leak, then gets replaced.
Thankfully we've had mild summers over the past years and I haven't needed to use that misting system. I'll probably have to replace that length of hose soon. :D
