Will Facebook Embrace Steem?
I have been looking carefully at the Facebook news related to blockchain development. They are hiring a big team focused on blockchain tech but what I can't find any information is what they are planning. I'd like to see what the Steem community thinks about this topic.
What do you think, will Steem and Facebook work together, or will Facebook go on their own?
Another thought is whether or not a new Facebook cryptocurrency would or would not challenge Steem. Currently, Reddit's coin is not hurting Steem, but perhaps over time the top social sites trying to make their own coins could hinder the advancement of Steem. On the other hand, if Facebook embraced Steem and built on top of this blockchain we could see the value of STEEM and SBD skyrocket.
