Greetings, Everyone
Today is my wife's birthday and I just wanted to share with you some crazy and funny things our daughter made for her. Even though today is Saturday, both of us have had to work. I left early to teach three kids (private English classes) and by the time I got home she had already left for her afternoon gig at a beauty parlor where she is helping at the cash register.
We are blessed to have her and I just wanted her to know that. This little funny kid became a beautiful and hard-working woman who unfortunatelly has had to struggle in a country that is falling apart and does not recognize merits or efforts.
She is a funny woman who gives the impression of having a bad temper. That's only because she is totally honest with everybody. She can be the most loving human being, lover of animals, music and nature, especially the sea. I plan to take her to the beach tomorrow. That would make her day.
As for today, I can only afford a home-made dinner and some homemade soursop ice cream that I plan to have ready by the time she gets home. I got the fruit from a brother and is fresh, sweet, and unblemished. She loves loaded sandwiches. We have not had any of those in years. But, I think I can arrange something for tonight.
In the meantime, our daughter wanted to elevate her to the category of Queen of dragons (fortunatelly, she won't go on a socialist rampage and we won't have to put her to sleep).
