The laptop screen showed an email sent pop-up.
The kidnappers waited impatiently drinking and talking while the kids sat oblivious on bunk beds. Papa bear was talking about “rules for all” on TV.
“Will they pay?” the woman asked.
The man looked like he’d got rabies.
“They moon shadowed it.”
