Movie tickets are 50% off on Mondays, so that's the best day to go if your party is big 馃榿
My niece wanted to take her daughters to the movies and got us tickets too (about 2$ each). They had decided to watch How to Train your Dragon. We had watched and liked the animated versiones, so it was cool with us.

We took a bus from where we live to a stop three blocks from the mall where the movie theater is.

It was about 4:15 and traffic was not that bad.

1000374853.jpg

We walked to the mall and it felt like it was Sunday.

They say this mall used to be a hot spot, but after the new Sambil Mall opened, this became kind of an empty shell.

There are still plenty of stores opened and it looks very clean, though.

We had to go three levels up.

To Cines Unidos (one of the there main movie theater companies in town).

I personally like when malls are kind of empty.

For health and money reasons we thought we could make it through the movie without the customary snacks, but...

1000374932.jpg

We could not. 馃槀

The tickets said 5:30, so we entered at about 5:20.

1000374938.jpg

It was almost empty (more people got in after the movie started).

1000374955.jpg

I had forgotten how annoying the commercials and trailers could be. I think the movie actually started at 6.

1000374947.jpg

The movie was ok. I personally don't see the point of turning animated movies into live-action, but it a was good relaxing experience.
Outside there were some tempting displays of movies-related merchandise, but...

That will have to wait for better times. We are not much into that and our kids are big enough to understand priorities.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great week.
