Welcome to my Splinterlands challenge! I would like to show to you how I won the battles with Feral Spirit. Stay Tuned!
Feral Spirit has Alpha and Beta Edition, a common card used for free before the release of the chaos legion pack. I mostly use it before for my daily Light quest, but now I have to rent it. I wasn't given the luck to own it during the chest opening but maybe soon I will buy one. 😉
(I use this design since I found feral spirit and the Cheshire cat in Alice wonderland looked familiar.)
Active summoners are water, earth, light, and dragon. The battle rules are increased life, weak magic (magic hit the armor before reducing health), and low mana.
This is my line-up:
| Card Name | Ability | Strategy |
|---|---|---|
| Tyrus Paladium | 3 mana with increased 1 armor | Thinking the opponent would still use magic, this decreases the chance to hit my monster's life directly |
| Soul Fiend | O mana, 1 melee attack, 2 speed, 1 life | Increased life and low mana would make this battle on my advantage, using this monster as my tank |
| Gargoya Scrapper | Level 4: 1 mana, 1 melee attack, 2 speed, 1 life, and void | This card is also a great tank, even if the armor is broken, magic would not come across |
| Silvershield Bard | Level 3: 1 mana, 1 melee attack, 2 speed, 2 life, and cleanse | Due to low mana card, this serve as my another tank |
| Armorsmith | Level 4: 2 mana, 1 melee attack, 2 speed, 3 life, and repair | As he repairs the friendly monster's armor, it helps extends their life too |
| Feral Spirit | Level 1: 3 mana, 1 melee attack, 4 speed, 2 life, and sneak | This card is my only melee back attack, decreasing the enemy's monsters located at the back |
| Divine Healer: Gold Foil | Level 4: 3 mana, 1 magic, 2 speed, 4 life, and heal | Used this card for the sole purpose of healing the friendly monsters, with its magic attack it strengthens my line up adding damage to the opponent. |
I would love to expound first the feral spirit's abilities first before proceeding to my enemy's line up.
As we can see in the image, as this monster's level is increasing only life, speed, melee attacks are increased, no other abilities are accompanied to it. Even so, giving the full level of the card would totally bring bigger damage to the enemy.
My enemy's line up:
| Card Name | Ability |
|---|---|
| Mylor Crowling | As a summoner, with 3 mana, it gives thorn ability to all friendly monsters at the start of the battle that gives damage back to the attacker |
| Furious Chicken | O mana,no melee attack, 1 speed, 1 life |
| Unicorn Mustang | 8 mana, 3 melee attack, 4 speed, 10 life and void |
| Khmer Princess | 2 mana, 1 magic attack, 1 speed, 2 life |
The enemy's line up is good, but not knowing I have plenty of low mana cards, having unicorn mustang with 10 lives would just give the advantage to me, even though he has giving me damage back while attacking.
With my repair, it prevents my next attacker to directly hit the health of my friendly monsters and with the help of the healer it brings my front line tank's life back. Feral Spirit contributes to attack Khmer Princess, preventing the monster to damage my next in line cards, though it's reverse damage caused by the mylor killed my feral spirit I still won the fight because of my reserved tanks.
