Good day Splinterlands family! I am back to share with you my battle featuring Shadow Snitch of the Death Element. Are you ready?!
Before we jump into my strategies, here is short lore from the splinterlands.com
Shadow Snitches are created by the conjurers of the Chaos Legion. Weaving Death magic, they breathe life into beings made completely of darkness. The purpose of the Shadow Snitches is to be deployed into lands prior to the Chaos Legion's invasion. Moving from shadow to shadow, they are listeners and watchers, feeding information back to the Chaos Legion.
But once the invasion is complete, the Shadow Snitches still serve a purpose. They can locate and follow high-value targets, reporting back on movements to Chaos Legion leadership. If needed, Shadow Snitches can also capture prisoners and bring them back for interrogation.
As we all know, Shadow snitch is under the death element and using a death element, honestly, I found it hard to win battles using this element, I was used to water and earth, therefore this was indeed a challenge for me. XD
For my strategy, I particularly use CONTESSA L'AMENT,
The dark witch known as Contessa L’ament brings a chill to the entire audience of Mount Mox whenever she is called upon to summon. Her flowing robes seem to absorb light from all around; it is said that the eminence of a dark star is woven into their fabric. The ghastly, rasping voice she uses to control her monsters is naturally amplified as it echoes through the arena. Contessa wears a white mask so none can see her face, a mask which cries a single tear, as if lamenting some never-forgotten loss from a distant living past.
because of its mana cost, I wanted to utilize the fullest mana available in the game.
| Card Name | Ability | Strategy | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mana 6, Melee-3, Speed-3, Health-10; Thorns- When hit with a melee attack give damage back to the attacker. | I specifically used it as my primary tank, since ranged arrow attacks are not allowed in the battle, surely the opponent's tank would be a melee monster. | ||
| Mana 4, Melee-2, Speed-2, Health-6; Reach- may attack from the 2'nd position on the team. | This monster is my second tank and at the same time it attacks at the behind of the primary attacker. | ||
| Mana 4, Speed-4, Health-7; Flying- has increased chance in evading melee attacks. Scavenger- increases health every monster dies | I chose this monster because of its scavenger ability, every time the poison kills the monster my monster will gain life. | ||
| Mana 2, Magic-1, Speed-2, Health-2; Weaken- Reduces the health of the enemy | This monster makes it easier to defeat the opponent due to its weaken ability, at the same time it has a magic attack, directing the hit to the enemy's life. | ||
| Mana 1, Melee-1, Speed-2, Health-1; Flying | I used this monster for the sniper/sneak attacks diversion. |
Did my strategy work?
Yes, I won the game, due to my scavenger monster, I remain alive despite the attack of the enemy and the poison during the game.
Maybe next time I will have a higher level of the Shadow snitch to maximize its abilities giving me more powerful attacks on the tank of the enemy
Do you like the shadow snitch? Why or why not?
Actually, I cannot figure it out. During this battle with the game rules applied, I liked it, and it put me on a greater advantage but playing after this game, I find it hard mixing it with the other monsters. Was it pure luck to win the game? XD
But totally I enjoyed it.
