Hello fellow warriors! Trust you are all doing well and having a great day.

Today I want to share a breakdown of a Fire monster called Torch Myrmidon. This is a Rare Elf card from the Fire element that costs 8 mana. It comes with high speed, solid health, and some very tactical abilities that make it an awesome main tank.

Let’s take a look at its stats, abilities, and how to place it properly on the battlefield.

Card Stats and Level Breakdown

Torch Myrmidon is designed to stand at the front and speed past enemy attacks. It starts with 4 speed right from level 1, which is very fast for a front tank.

Here is how its stats grow as you level it up:

  • Level 1 to 2: Starts with 1 to 2 melee attack, 4 speed, 2 armor, and 7 health. You get two abilities right away at level 1.
  • Level 3 to 5: Attack stays at 2 melee, speed increases to 5, armor stays at 2, and health grows from 8 to 9.
  • Level 6 to 7: At level 6, it unlocks its third ability (Shatter). Speed goes up to 6, armor stays at 2, and health reaches 10.
  • Level 8 (Max Level): At max level, it hits 3 melee attack, 6 speed, 2 armor, and 10 health. Fully maxed out, it carries 2,415 collection power.

Understanding its Abilities

This card has a unique set of abilities that change how your team attacks:

  1. Flank (Level 1): When Torch Myrmidon is placed in position 1, it automatically gives the Reach ability to the monster sitting right behind it in position 2. This lets your second unit attack the enemy tank from safety.

  1. True Strike / High Accuracy (Level 1): Helps ensure its attacks never miss, even against fast or flying enemies.

  1. Shatter (Level 6): When Torch Myrmidon hits an enemy monster that has armor, it instantly destroys all of that monster's armor in one single hit.

How to Set It Up on the Battlefield

Because of its Flank ability, the absolute best place for Torch Myrmidon is Position 1 (your main tank spot).

Here is why this strategy works so well:

  • Placing it in slot 1 activates Flank, which allows whatever heavy melee unit you put in slot 2 to start attacking immediately.
  • With 4 to 6 speed, Torch Myrmidon has a high chance to dodge incoming physical hits from slower enemy tanks.
  • Once you reach level 6, its Shatter ability melts away the enemy tank's armor on round 1, opening them up for your rest of your team to deal direct damage.

This card shines in medium to high mana matches (30+ mana) where you can afford an 8-mana tank alongside strong melee attackers behind it.

Final Thoughts

Torch Myrmidon is not just a standard tank—it's a team player. By giving your second monster the ability to attack from slot 2, it lets you unleash a double melee attack on the enemy frontline right from the start.

Have you tried using Torch Myrmidon at the front of your Fire lineups? What monster do you like placing behind it in position 2? Let me know in the comments below!
