This is my first time entering The SoCal Hive's "My California" contest. Even though I have run this weekly contest a few times, I have never entered it!
So here it is. This is what we saw on our morning walk today... the sun turned red. The air quality here is "okay" but the horizon is all smoky brown.
Flowers don't seem to care at all. Tropical Plumeria flowers are very popular in our area. They don't mind the heat!
We have a small collection growing, of various colors. Here are two varieties that are slightly different. If you look closely you can see one is more golden than the other.
