Hive PH Power Up Challenge Starts Now

Hello Hive PH! Today is the day!

Today marks the start of our one month challenge for the Hive PH Power Up Challenge! All you need to do is to share a screen capture of your current Hive Power today, and then enjoy powering up your account for the entire month. If you haven't heard about the challenge, we invite you to check out the details on this post.

Mechanics

1. Screen caps of initial HP should be done on June 1st until 12MN
   Post the screen capture of your HP showing the date today on the comments below.
2. Screen caps of powered up HP should be done on June 30th until 12MN
   Post your June 30th HP as a reply to your comment on the above post.
3. This challenge is open for all Hive PH members with Rep below 60.
   For Hive PH members with Rep higher than 60, you are still welcome to join in. We are trying to device a different category for the Power Up challenge for you.

Ways to power up

Content

This is the easiest and most obvious way of earning here in Hive. You just need to make your content be it art, poetry, story, photography, videos or what have you. But the key in getting the most out of your post is creating engaging and quality content.

When people say quality content, newbies nd even tenured ones tend to shy away a little bit. They start throwing statementd like "Oh, I'm not really a writer." Or "I don't have that much experience in video or photo editing." "I'm not really good with poetry."

Note that these kinds of mindset tend to limit our capabilities. Instead of putting a limit with the content that you share, why not make it your training ground?

And quality isn't just about what younare trying to show, it's also how you present it. Try some formatting, add engaging photos related to your post (don't forget to credit your sources), tell us bout the process you went through with your artwork or video.

Always remember, to earn something, first you have to work for it.

Connection

After you've made your quality content, you have to explore and expand your network. Be on the lookout for fellow Hivers that also create quality content. Get yourself out there. Notice so that you could be noticed.

This is where communities help each member grow. It is easier to spot the articles related to your niche. Interaction and engagement becomes a lot easier.

Did you know that you also earn HP when you upvote? Yes, you read it right. You also earn curation rewards on posts you upvote. This is why you should watch out fornthose posts that stand out when it comes to quality. The higher their post upvote value, the higher your curation rewards. Of course, that is proportional to your upvote value and the time when your upvote was done.

Bonus tip: Upvoting at around 5-minute mark will give you much more curation rewards in proportion to your hive power.

Cash in

Another way of increasing your HP is by investing cash in the blockchain. You can buy Hive to power up you account. You could use a lot of exchanges like Bittrex and Binance to name a few.
