This beautiful lake is located in Saqalaksar village; A village 15 km south of Rasht with warm-hearted and hospitable people. The people of this village earn their living through jobs such as animal husbandry, rice farming and fish farming and live in a clean environment. Next to this village, Saqalaksar earthen dam has created a lake in a forested area that attracts many tourists and nature lovers from far and near.
The height of the lake is 64 meters above sea level, and it is about 600 meters long and about 500 meters wide. The water of this lake is supplied by rainfall and surrounding springs. The presence of this pure gem in this region has caused facilities to be formed around it and people to travel to Saqalaksar Lake to have happy hours.
