Many nations are not finding it easy the way things are going as their citizens have been left with fewer option. Most times people sleep with a good hope that things will become better the next day but waking up it feels as if there is a stepping down to the formal which makes the situation worse than what it was. There as being an adulteration of the original.
My country Nigeria is not left out of this saga. I do not want to say it is the worse because I know there are nations with more terrible situations but I must say it is so terrible.
I will be talking as a family person who has many mouths to take care of. Daily when we get to the ma4ket there is always a shocker that if you are not well equipped with much shock absorber, you may break down. Can you imagine that the common thing matches are not less than #20 for each box? Times I wonder who has done this to us. A cup of good rice cannot be gotten for #100 and this is how the ]prices of things keep increasing by the day.
Some days ago when I went to make some inquiries on stationery the storekeeper told me to add some little money while making my budget because he is not certain of the price on the day I will be coming for the items.
It appears as if we are sitting on a time bomb because it seems that it will not get better so soon. Looking at the state of our universities makes me want to weep. Imagine students at home for more than seven months. My sister renewed her house rent just to be called a few days later that the strike have begun. So when the strike is called off shortly the rent will expire.
Any nation that has a low interest in education is not making good progress. But my joy in all these is that the private institutions are still on though not everyone will be able to afford them. Also, I believe that there will be a revolution in the system soon and a new Nigeria is going to emerge. If we can be so obedient to use our voter's cards well in the coming election.
Conclusively, If we seat at a place and complain from now to tomorrow nothing will change, but if we make ourselves agents of change we will rejoice greatly.
