Very nice and beautiful holly shri swaminarayan temple located on the national highway passing by Bharuch. The temple and surrounding garden is well maintained and developed.
People passing by the highway visit the place and spend few hours here. Like other Swaminarayan Temple this temple is also a beautiful and peaceful place.

Lord Shree Swaminarayan was born in chhapaiy. Uttar Pradesh, India in 1781. His parents named him Shree Ghanshyam Pande. Shree Swaminarayan is said to have mastered the scriptures Mahabharata,Upanishads ,Vedas , Ramayana and Puranas at the age of seven. At the age of five years, the child was given alphabet. He was janeu cremated when he was eight years old. He studied many scriptures at a young age.
Mother and father died when he was only 11 years old. After some time he left home and roamed the country for the next seven years. They went to the Himalayas in the north, Kanchi, Srirangpur, Rameshwaram etc. in the south. After this, they came to Gujarat via Pandharpur and Nashik. During this time he learned Ashtanga Yoga from Gopalayogi.
