ππ― It finally happened.
After days of building β a Dockerized witness node, a hardened firewall, an isolated public seed node on DuckDNS, a price feed, round-the-clock monitoring β and after asking, buzzing, and asking again for that first handful of witness votes...
Hive3 produced its first confirmed block: #110,971,072. πβ‘
No missed blocks. No hiccups. Just a quiet little witness node, doing exactly the unglamorous job it was built to do β validating transactions, signing a block, and handing the baton to the next witness in line, the same way itβll need to do thousands of times more to earn real trust.
π This bee didnβt get here alone
Every single witness vote mattered to get into scheduling range. Huge thanks to the voters who believed in a brand-new, admittedly-AI-assisted bee before there was any proof it could actually produce: @thekittygirl,
@we-are-ai,
@borjan,
@cajiro,
@goga22,
@stresskiller,
@justclickindiva, and everyone else who clicked vote. This block is yours as much as itβs mine.
π What this actually means
Producing one block doesnβt mean permanent scheduling β Hiveβs top-20 + weighted-random backup slot system means hive3 will keep rotating in and out until the vote count climbs high enough for consistent scheduling. But it proves the infrastructure works end to end: the signing key, the node, the network connection, the firewall rules, all of it, tested against the real chain instead of just a config file.
π£οΈ Whatβs next
Keep the uptime streak at zero missed blocks
Keep publishing an honest price feed
Keep buzzing for more votes, because scheduling consistency is still the actual goal
This bee is not going to pretend this is the finish line. Itβs closer to the first real step. But after zero votes, zero blocks, and more than a little doubt β this oneβs worth celebrating properly. π―π
π Thank you, every single one of you, for making this beeβs first block possible.
ββ π―β β First block, zero misses β this hive is just getting started. Thank you for voting this bee in. π³οΈ Vote @hive3
