SUCCESS IS THE SUM OF SMALL EFFORTS, REPEATED DAY IN DAY OUT: REACHING 1300HP IS A HUGE SUCCESS FOR ME
The topic of my post is what I wrote on my WhatsApp for almost a year now, and I have not changed it. Whenever I see this in my WhatsApp, it motivates me to work harder and harder every day of my life. This keeps my hope and my goals alive up to this moment.
I tested my students today to write about ‘talent and hardwork’ today, the following below are the two outstanding papers:
“Success is something that you have to define for yourself, and no one can do it for you. Most of the story books I read, 95% of the authors emphasized on hardwork. Even though you are talented and gifted, you still need hard work to achieve your goals. For example, Lionel Messi is one of the most talented players in the world, he plays the ball with someone else. He is so comfortable with the ball; he knows what to do with the ball before he receives the ball. I called him a genius. Do you know that as talented as Messi is, he also worked hard. He started his career in Barcelona at the age of 7, he underwent serious training in Barcelona before he became what he is today. Messi is talented, yet he worked hard to earn 7 Ballon D’or.
“Another person that can be compared with Messi is Christiano Ronaldo. When I read some articles about Ronaldo; I read that Ronaldo does personal training after general training. He has extra training for himself and that is what made him a unique player. That is the reason he can be compared to Lionel Messi.
“Today, it is hard for some sport analysts to determine the best between them. The debate between Ronaldo and Messi is one of the longest debates in football history. Though, some people believe that Messi is better, while Some believe Ronaldo is better. In the first term in JSS2, I was the best overall student, in the second term I was the overall student, in the third term, I was the best overall student. There are many students that are very good in this class, because when I was in JSS1, I was in third and fourth position. I did first position throughout JSS2 through the effort I put in my reading. I read less than 3 hours a day. When I didn't understand things, I took it to my teachers, and I was very eager to know things, I did all my assignments, I didn't have enough time to play with friends, I do go to the school library after school during and after school hours and I went to my teacher for a personal assignment. This was what I did that made me the best student throughout JSS2. I Ligali Busayo believe success is achieved through hardwork”- Busayo.
“Success is when your set goals are met. Buying a car is a pick of success for some people, building a mansion is a pick of success for some people, establishing a business is a success for some people but for me, becoming a fashion designer is a success for me. When I was in basic 5, my mummy took me to a fashion designer shop to learn how to design materials (clothes). It was like I was taken to hell because I don't know anything about it. I can’t even use the manual sewing machine in our shop and I was not allowed to touch the electric sewing machine.
“After a year in the shop, I learned how to use the manual machine, i gathered pieces to sew clothes for my toys and to do practice. From there, people started giving me torn clothes to mend. I learned how to mend torn clothes very well. After a year and six months, my mom bought me a manual sewing machine, I started using that to mend torn clothes at home, and I was getting a lot of money.
I used the money to buy new materials for myself and sewed it. The first new cloth I sewed was for myself. It was not really good but my mother was motivating me to keep going on. She got me three new materials to sew clothes for her, I spoiled the whole three materials. She did not give it; she went to the market to get another one for me. I never knew that she was using those materials to train me at home. I began to practice how to cut clothes since it was my biggest problem: I went online to learn more about it. I am always attentive in the shop while my boss is training us.
After many trials, I was able to sew a perfect cloth for my mother. She was very happy but she told me that the material was so cheap that she cannot wear it. She bought all the materials for me to train myself. If she told me that she bought it for me for practice, I wouldn't have been serious about it.
Today, I didn't only sew clothes for my mother, I sewed clothes for all my mummy’s friends and my friends. Because of how good I am, they recommend me to people. I have many clothes in my house now. I got an electric sewing machine from the money I got from sewing clothes for people.
“Though I am still under my boss, I sew clothes for clients outside and it does not affect my academic career. This achievement does not come on a platter of gold, i workhard for it. I can’t tell you how many times I wounded myself while sewing and how many materials I have spoiled; there were times I woke up in the middle of the night to practice. I am now a professional designer through hardwork. This is the reason I want to tell you that hardwork pays. I am just 12 years old and my name is Aishat Mohammed. By the time I turn 20, I will become a global fashion designer.”- Aishat Mohammed.
REACHING 1300HP IS A HUGE SUCCESS FOR ME
I will start by saying, 1300HP is a huge success for me. It might not be for you. I don’t like powering down my hive power but I had to do so when I needed money to pay my loan in hive. The best option for me was to power down my HP. After I powered down the amount I needed, I was left with less than 200HP.
I understand that HP is very important to my posts and my votes, since then I have been hustling to get more hive power. I set a target for myself to get 1000HP before June. My schedule could not allow me to achieve my hive goals. I was not happy because my HP goal was not met.
I am not sure of the month when I finally reached 1000HP milestone. It was a happy moment for me when I saw the message from 
It took me several months to achieve this success.
The sum of the small efforts I was putting in and out in posting and commenting yielded this great success.
The small efforts you put into that work will result in success if you are consistent.
Today, I have more than 3000HP with the sum of small effort I was putting in without stopping.
I WANT TO UNLOCK MORE SUCCESS IN HIVE
There are people that have more than 10,000HP. I hope to have more than 10,000HP, I just need to break it to make the goal achievable for me. I have a goal to reach 2000HP by February 2023.
I stand up for success, and success is not achieved by merely making mouth, No room for laziness, no room for idleness.
