The moment I read the Splinterlands update which SPS staking will replace CP; I have started thinking about how to accumulate more SPS since I don’t have SPS. It is something that worries me when I can’t do what I love to do.
This afternoon when I was searching for article to read concerning the new development, I read an article that stated the amount of SPS Staking for each league; I realized that I will be playing in the lowest league when SPS replace CP; this is not good for me at all. That was the reason I came up with an ideas that will help to accumulate more SPS before the kick off.
For small players like me who want to explore this game can also follow my plan, it will work for you too.
The plans are:
Sell Some Cards and Use the Money to buy SPS: There are many cards I don’t use while playing battles in splinterlands; it is because I have gold foil of these cards, and never use them for months; and also, I have cards that function as some of these cards. Keeping these cards will be a waste when I have something to do with these cards.
There are cards I have not used for a year or more: my plan is to sell these cards in the market; use the money to buy SPS and stake it.
For instance, I have Gold Foil of Captain Ghost and also have the one that is not gold foils. I used ordinary Captain Ghost In battles; and its level is higher than Captain Ghost GF. More than 13 months now, I have not use Captain Ghost Gf in battles.
This is the reason I came up with plans to sell some of the cards I don’t use in battles so that I can get enough SPS for the new development.
Battle Rewards: Playing battles is also good; most of my SPS I staked presently was gotten from battles. I have 1874 SPS staking right now; and I got them from ranked battles.
This is the reason; it is good to play battles; and I believe that if I continue to play ranked battles, I will win more.
Assuming I have license node, land or nightmare, I would have earned SPS from it; but since I don’t have, I have to think of how to get more SPS.
Posting: I get rewards from posting on my contents on #hive; I got more than $10 last week in my payout, I believe if I can put my best in writing posts within the frame of time left, I can earn rewards which I can use to get SPS in the market. I used the money I got from my post to get most of the cards I have in splinterlands; and I believe I can do the same again.
Watch Twitch: Many players are winning big in twitch or you can join SPLINTERLANDSTV ON DICORD; then you can register in twitch. There are many players winning different SPS, cards and many other things.
I was watching twitch tonight and a player won a summoner worth a lot of money; therefore, you can win big by actively participating in SplinterlandsTV.
BRAWL UPDATE
What a big loss yesterday, I was trying to enter my fray but couldn't due to network. when I wanted to enter my fray; the internet fucked me up and I couldn't enter the fray.
After I waited for three hours, the network was not restored and I could not enter the Fray; that was how I missed the recent Brawl battle. therefore, no merit and SPS for me.
I won Venarimarksrat Today
Venarimarksrat is one of the monsters my opponents used against me often because of the martyr ability. Venarimarksrat is widely used against me when born again or noxious fume rules are given in battles.
Venarimarksrat is one of my biggest challenges whenever the above rules are given to me in battles. This is the reason I have been searching for this monster for a long time; Venarimarksrat could not be purchased in the market because it is not available and I could not be rented because it is not available for rentage. The only way to get this monster is to get it from playing battles.
After playing more than 30 ranked battles today; I decided to open my focus chest, and I was fortunate to get Venarimarksrat from one of the chests. I was very happy to get this monster today because for more than 2 months ago I have been searching for Venarimarksrat.
Another thing I love about this monster is that is a neutral monster- it can be used with any summoner in splinterlands. This ability makes the monster very unique. There were times I needed a monster like but not available.
✅✅ISGALD VORST SHOWS HIS ABILITY IN UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL RULE✅✅
If you ask me my favorite gladius cards, Isgald Vorst would be one of them. It is one of the gladius cards with amazing ability; this ability always makes me select this monster.
Today, when I was given 'up close and personal rule' in a battle; I knew that only melee monsters would be used in this battle.
One thing I was scared about was a monster with thorns ability; I knew if my opponent selected a monster with thorns ability, such a monster would have negative effect on my monsters. Therefore, the first monster that came to my mind when I saw 'up close and personal rule' was Isgald Vorst due to his opportunity ability.

Up Close & Personal: Only monsters with melee attack may be used in battles.
With this ruleset, the only monsters available in this battle are the monsters with melee attack; therefore, no range attack monster, no magic attack monster.
Odd ones out: Only monsters with odd mana costs may be used in battles.
Monsters with odd mana can be used in this battle; such as 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11.

GLORIDAX SOLDIER
Splinter: Dragon
Level: 4⭐⭐⭐⭐
Ability: shield and Flying
The moment I saw the forgotten one in my opponent lineup, I knew that the forgotten one would miss the attack due to the flying ability of Gloridax Soldier.
It took the forgotten one round 4 to hit the target; and by round four, 3 opponent monsters were eliminated from the battle. The reason the forgotten one was missing the target was the flying ability of Gloridax Soldier. I believe if there was no flying ability, Gloridax Soldier would have been eliminated.
When the forgotten one was eliminated in round five, Gloridax Soldier was still in battle; that showed how Gloridax Soldier was instrumental in this game.
FLYING SQUID
Splinter: Water
Level: 3⭐⭐⭐
Ability: Reach
In this battle, there was no better position than the second position for this monster. Using this monster other than second position would result in failure because second position was the only position of which Flying Squid could attack.
The reach ability triggered me to place it in second position.
ISGALD VORST
Splinter: Water
Level: 3⭐⭐⭐
Ability: Opportunity and Bloodlust
Igald Vorst was the only reason I used Helios Matriarch summoner.
Helios Matriarch summoner is a dragon summoner that allows the use of a Gladius card in battles. The use of gladius card was the only reason I selected this summoner so that I could use Isgald Vorst.
Out of six monsters for my opponent side, Isgald Vorst eliminated 5 due to bloodlust and opportunity abilities.
DRAGON JUMPER
Splinter: Dragon
Level: 1⭐
Ability: opportunity and Flying
The purpose of Dragon Jumper was to attack monsters with smallest health in this battle; its speed made it to attack faster in this battle.
Dragon jumper was the first monster to attack in this battle; as the Isgald Vorst was eliminating monsters, its glory was revealed and the stats kept increasing which made it speed to be higher than Dragon Jumper.
By the time Isgald Vorst eliminated two opponent monsters, its speed was higher than Dragon jumper; and by the battle was round three, Isgald Vorst became the first monster to attack.
PELACOR DANDIT
Splinter: Water
Level: 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Ability: sneak and Flying
I was Scared to select this Pelacor Bandit because I have witnessed situations where my opponents' placed monsters with thorns ability at the back which destroyed and eliminated my sneak monsters. Since then, I decided to be using the combination of opportunity and sneak monsters when 'Up Close & Personal rule' is given.
The aim of Pelacor Bandit in this battle was to attack from behind.
HARDY SONEFISH

Level: 3
I knew that there would be a sneak monster in my opponent lineup; that was the reason I placed Hardy Stonefish in the back position to delay.
