Healed out is one of the oldest rules in splinterlands; though you may use monsters with healing abilities in the battles but it won’t heal when the healed out is among the rulesets.
There is no healing monster or summoner that will work when the healed-out rule is among the rulesets.
When i was new to the healed-out rule, I thought that the cleanse ability monster would cleanse the healed out in the first monster. Therefore, I used Sea Monster as the first monster; then Kelp Initiate to cleanse the healed out on the Sea Monster. Unfortunately, the cleanse ability monster could not do anything. That was I realized that nothing could remove the healed out from monsters when the rule is activated.
This is to show that whenever the healed-out rule is in the action, there is no monster and summoner that can alter the rule. Hence, there are specific monsters that are very good to use when the rule is in action.
Whenever I see healed out rule in battles, I hardly use healing monsters because those healing monsters aren’t going to heal; for me, it is a waste of monsters to use healing ability monsters in healed out battles.
Other rules in the battles also determine monsters and a summoner I’m to use. In most cases when healed out rule were given to me, I used Djinn Oshannus as the first or second monster; I also use more of magic monsters than any other attacking monsters.
I used Earth summoner in the battle I’m sharing here today; this is because Water summoner was not available when I was selecting Summoner, and the next Summoner that was suitable for this battle was Earth Summoner.
One of the best monsters for this battle rule is the Grandmaster Rathe. This is because whatever monsters you are using against this summoner, the monsters will attack the armor before the health. That is the reason such a summoner is good for the ruleset. Unfortunately, I did not have Grandmaster Rathe summoner; this made me use the one I had.
The healed-out ruleset is another method to adapt to a battle without healing ability. This is also to test the skills of players about the ruleset.

Healed Out: All Healing Abilities are removed from monsters and summoners.
Close Range: ranged attacks may be used in first position in battles. When a player uses range monsters in the first position, such a monster will attack in this type of ruleset.
28 mana cap was given in this battle which was not enough for me to choose my desired monsters. I would have changed my monsters if 42 mana caps were given to me.

Venari Marksrat
Splinter: Neutral
Level: 2⭐⭐
Ability: Martyr
I love to use this monster because of its martyr ability; and that was the reason I used it in the first position because it was very important for me to increase the stats of Pelacor Mercenary. Venati Marksrat had the ability to attack in the first position because of the close-range ruleset; but there were monsters that had higher speed than Venari Marksrat in this battle, and that was the reason it could not attack.
If Venari Marksrat had up to 4 speeds, it would have attacked before it was eliminated in this battle. This simply means that speed is crucial to this ruleset; the monsters with highest speed attack first.
⚔️⚔️Round 1⚔️⚔️
Regal Peryton was the monster that started attack in this battle, it attacked shieldbearer and damaged two health; then Halfling Alchemy was the second monster that attacked in this battle, it attacked Shieldbearer; it damaged one armor and broke the melee, the melee of Shieldbearer was broke to 1.
The first opponent monster that attacked was Evangelist; it damaged two health from Venari Marksrat. By the time Shieldbearer attacked, Silvershield bard cleansed the Shieldbearer, the monster’s melee came back to two. It attacked Vanri Marksrat and eliminated it. The opponent’s Halfling Alchemist missed the attack.
Armorsmith increased the armor of Shieldbearer and Doctor Blight attacked and poisoned Shieldbearer ansd that was the reason when the second round started, the poison damaged two health from Shieldbearer.
Pelacor Mercenary
Splinter: Earth
Level: 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Ability: flying
Pelacor Mercenary was my first monster in this battle, I used Venari Marksrat to increase Pelacor mercenary’s stats. You could see that when Marksrat was eliminated, the speed. Melee, health, armor of Pelacor Mercenary increased by +1. That was exactly what I wanted in for this monster so that it could attack in time.
⚔️⚔️Round 2⚔️⚔️
Toward the end of round of one, Pelacor Mercanry led the attack but could not attack in round one.
Because of the increased of the stats of Pelacor Mercenary, the monster was the second that attacked Shieldbearer after Regal Pryton, then Screeching Vulture and later eliminated by Halfling Alchemist.
Chanseus the Great resurrected Shieldbearer bacsue of the Resurrect ability of the summoner. Chanseus the Great has the ability to resurrect one friendly monster after it dies. Immediately it was resurrected by Chanseus the Great, it was also eliminated by Doctor Blight. That was the reason I like magic monsters in this kind of ruleset, if it was a melee or range monster that attacked Shieldbearer, it wouldn’t have been eliminated immediately because of its armor. Opponent’s Halfling Alchemist attacked pelacor Mercenary, damaged one health and broke the melee to 2.
Regal Peryton
Splinter: Earth
Level: 3⭐⭐⭐
Ability: Flying
The reason Regal Peryton was Important to me in this battle was the magic attack; I knew that Regal Peryton would attack the health directly because of its magic attack; except when special summoner is used such as Grandmaster Rathe or when weak magic rule is attached to the rule. That is when magic monsters would attack the armor before health.
Another factor that I considered before selecting Regal Peryton was the speed. It has 6 speeds which made it to be the first monster that attacked in this battle.
⚔️⚔️Round 3⚔️⚔️
The moment Shieldbearer was eliminated, opponent lineup was exposed. There was no hope that he could win the battle. Regal Peryton eliminated Armorsmith at the first attack of the third round; Screeching Vulture eliminated Silvershield Archers; Pelacor Mercenary damaged 2 health from Evangelist. Evangelist was able to attack when it led the battle in the third position, and it attacked Pelacor Mercenary.
Halfling Alchemist damaged one health and broke the range attack of Evangelist to 1; it was cleansed by Silvershield Bald immediately, and Doctor Blight afflicted Evangelist again.
Screeching Vulture
Splinter: Earth
Level: 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Abilities: Flying and Opportunity
I have been playing splinterlands for long time, I reallized that there are some monsters that are powerful and some of those monsters have smallest health. Therefore, Screeching Vulture was selected to eliminate those types of monsters. Unfortunately, my opponent used a monster with taunt ability which made Screeching Vulture not eliminate monsters with smallest health in this battle.
I was very sure that if not Shieldbearer in this battle, the first monster that Screeching Vulture would have attacked in this battle is Halfling Alchemist.
Screeching Vulture contributed to the elimination of Shieldbearer.
⚔️⚔️Round 4⚔️⚔️
Evangelist was finally eliminated in the beginning of round four by Regal Peryton; then Pelacor Mercenary destroyed the armor of Halfling Alchenist while Screeching Vulture eliminated it; while my Halfling Alchemist finally eliminated the last monster in the opponent lineup which was Solvershield Bard.
That was the end of the battle.
Doctor Blight
Splinter: Neutral
Level: 2⭐⭐
Abilities: Poison, Camouflage, and Affliction
Affliction was not necessary in this battle because there was no healing monster and the rule of this battle has already ruled out monsters with healing abilities. Even though such a monster is present in this battle, it won’t be able to heal.
The poisoning ability and magic attack were very important to me, the poison ability damaged 2 health from Shieldbearer at the beginning of second round, if not the presence of Silvershield Bard in the opponent lineup that cleansed the poisoning ability, the poision would have continued until the monster was finally destroyed.
That was the reason for selecting Doctor Blight.
Halfling Alchemist
Splinter: Neutral
Level: 2⭐⭐
Ability: Halving
The monster was important to break the armor of opponent monsters. At the beginning of the battle, it broke the melee of Shieldbearer; and toward the end of the battle, it broke the range attack of Evangelist to 1.
This is the final result of the battle.
In conclusion, Healed out is more challenging due to absence of healing ability monsters, but it make me think of another strategy.
I enjoyed this battle because I was able to win without stress; only a monster was destroyed from my lineup which was incredible.
well! for me, I will like to see this rule in my battles. I will like to use many strategies against this rule.
