The past couple of days have been quite sad for the Nigerian community.

Since the death of the Nigerian gospel artist, Osinachi Nwachukwu, the Ekwueme crooner, the talk on abuse has been trending on social media and the conversation has been broken down into a lot of aspects.

Domestic violence is prevalent in many homes and relationships, and in like Osinachi's case, it is common knowledge to families, friends, and even pastors of the couple.

Why do people remain in abusive relationships and find it difficult to walk away from such? What can be done to curtail these cases leading to critical situations and even more deaths?

We would love to read your views on the topic of abuse and we kindly ask that you do not include triggering content in your entries.
