Now to our discussion for this weekend! We will be discussing "AI ABUSE”.
The adoption of Artificial intelligence softwares across the world has been impressively successful and as these AI systems continue to evolve, so does the concerns about how easily they can be abused. From generating fake conversations and misleading content to violating people’s privacy through manipulated images and videos, many have started questioning whether our society is truly prepared for the consequences of unchecked AI use. While some believe AI is simply a tool whose impact depends on the user, others insist that the rapid advancement is overriding ethical responsibility and regulation.
Here's the question!
Do you think the growing misuse of AI for manipulation, impersonation, privacy violations, and false representations of facts is becoming a serious threat to trust and human dignity online? If yes, what kind of restrictions or punishment do you think should exist to prevent abuse?
