I thought I should pop up a little note about how I plan to use the BusyBees community account.
For those who don't know, when you create a community, it effectively creates a user account that is the community. I feel really happy that it's given us a nice community number ending in double zero. Yeah, I know it's random, but it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy 馃榿
The overall goal is to grow the community account's HP to make it's vote power grow, so it can then upvote BusyBees posts, which of course helps all of you grow.
The HP will be grown in a number of ways;
I expect it to take a long time for the account to grow, but over time it should benefit all of us.
I'm not sure what to do with the HBD the account earns; this is probably something to be discussed as a community.
One option is to convert them to HP to increase the voting power.
Another option (which I kind of like, even if it's a bit vague) is to build it up with the view that it could eventually be used as a fund to help out BusyBees who have a real world emergency, but on the understanding that when the emergency is over, it's repaid (probably over a period of time) with a small additional donation to boost it for the next member who has an emergency.
The one thing I won't do with the community account is take any of it for myself - I'm going to treat it as strictly "not my money" !

What am I going to do when I run out of images of bees on blue or purple flowers ? 馃榿
