Campfire Conversation -- bambuka@bambuka's fun challenge with prizes - is going well, the Season 4 now is open and waiting for your efforts. Dont do a separate post, just drop your stuff into comments section, and engage with other teammates. This week's topic is 'Favorite Mushroom Dish'.

not a big news

All of a sudden, we are 613 subscribers (next goal is: 666!), 80 active posters, and last week we had 355 interactions - wow! Community account reached the total power of 3717 HP (thanks to solominer@solominer, qwerrie@qwerrie, bambuka@bambuka, keuudeip@keuudeip and portal-xenna@portal-xenna for their delegation). As you know from previous posts, FL is a part of @OCD community incubation program -- check the link for full details. In brief, it means @OCD encourages hiveans to post to dedicated communities by giving back nice upvotes for great posts.

keuudeip@keuudeip brought in some pictures from a walk at Aceh forest, including mushroom trophies. He found this smooth white fungus, reminding of sweet mangosteen fruit. If the mushrooms were sweet, he says, he would have enjoyed said delicacy immediately!

More weird looking fungi stuff from Indonesia, again ridor5301@ridor5301 to blame to say thank you. Those have simply an irresistable beauty to us.

Awesome post from bambuka@bambuka's long forest walk -- tropheys including Chantarelles, tree roots picked up for carving, and other unedible but still beautiful stuff.

And a little reminder: we have a nice fun challenge at HIVE, hold by @EwkaW: #FungiFriday. I hope many of you will join, as there are only 2 simple rules:

  • when Friday comes, share your fungi with us! post your own, original photo/drawing/art/food/anything-at-all of any type of fungi (yes, stolen images will be checked and reported !)
  • add #fungifriday (not necessarily must be your 1st tag). that's all!
