About my smoothie, I had broken the crown of my canine tooth two years back and it was very expensive to repair in Norway. Saturday I had an appointment with the dentist and he decided to pull my tooth in order to make a new planting. The day my tooth was removed I was eating only cold and soft food. So I decided to make a smoothie for lunch but just then there was no electricity as is often the case here, Undaunted, I relied on a traditional kitchen utensil to do the job.
INGREDIENTS :
2 slices of papaya.
1/2 fresh coconut grated.
1 Mango
2 tbsp basil seeds
1 guava
a few grapes
1/2 pineapple.
1 tbsp jaggery optional.
In a smoothie, everything is just thrown in a blender and blended beyond recognition. But I like these colorful fruits to be handled kindly so they keep their nice look.
so cut them using my ideas.
they are very beautiful as well as very tasty and sweet.
Here are all ingredients ready to blend a few fruits I cut in small bites, and I will use them as topping. Ground coconut, made mango in chunks, soaked basil seeds
peeled papaya,(lime, cashew, and jaggery are optional).
When all ingredients were ready to go in the blender the electricity went. But I remembered my old fashioned wooden churner and used it to blend all fruits to make this smoothie. When we were children my mother used this wooden churner like an immersion blender to blend yogurt or blend soups, Dals, or was making baby food for my younger brother. i use it mostly to churn butter
I am putting one by one ingredient in the clay pot.
Started churning.
Here is the result
and the smoothie is ready.
I am inviting @eolianpariah2 and
@anttn to join the fun.
Thank you for stopping by.
