The Blessing indeed
One of the genuine blessings that trully come with the airdrop is that it has higher reward for steemit attestation with a high steemit reputaion.
I personally, do not blog regularly here, and I quite understand that steemit reputations of 60 upward ain't child's play. it takes a lot of diligence and concerted personal effort to build up to such reputation, not to mention those with a reputation of 70 upward.
The byteball airdrop would have been a the best avenue to reward those with higher reputation for their effort and perseverance on the steemit blockchain. Like
The proliferation curse
The airdrop markers were kind and considerate enough to include lower reputations scores.... basically, as a means to encourage those with lower reputation scores rather than as a rewad for effort. But, the greed human factor decided to have a better part of of our integrity and what we stand for and represent as a community.
It is quite unfortunate, that some users decided to abuse the generosity of the airdrop by creating overnight multiple steemit accounts with little or no activity; manipulates it to the minimum reputation required for the airdrop.
My facebook wall has been clogged of recently with unsolicited ads from steemit users that have decided to milk the steemit blockchain. They now trade steemit accounts. Some even go as far as promising to boost your reputation with their bot and high steem power for some fees.
Way Forward
This is highly degrading and uncall for. Let us preserve our integrity and maintain our dignity in labour.
Let us stand and say NO to the proliferation of the steemit blockchain and her communities.
NO to multiple accounts creation for selfish gains!
NO to sells of steemit account!
NO to reaping from where you did not sow.
