Since my consular appointment was made in Izmir, I traveled from Antalya to Izmir for about 8 hours.
Izmir province is one of the beautiful cities located in the Aegean region of Turkey.
It is a city worth seeing with its sea and historical monuments.
Konsolosluk randevum İzmir ilinden alındığı için Antalya’dan İzmir’e yaklaşık 8 saatlik bir seyahat gerçekleştirdim.
İzmir ili, Türkiye’nin Ege bölgesinde yer alan güzel şehirlerinden biridir.
Denizi ve tarihi eserleri ile görülmeye değer bir il.
I had the opportunity to travel here before.
But I haven't had a chance to travel much.
During this development, I wanted to explore İzmir a bit.
I would like to talk about the beauties of this Aegean city by talking about my first day in Izmir.
Buraya daha öncede seyahat etme imkânı bulmuştum.
Ama pek gezme fırsatım olmamıştı.
Bu gelişimde biraz İzmir’i keşfetmek istedim.
İzmir’de ilk günümden bahsederek bu Ege kentinin güzelliklerinden bahsetmek istiyorum.
In the morning, I passed from Izmir bus station to the district called Kordon.
Kordon was an area where I could watch the sea view.
When I came to Kordon, I witnessed the preparation stages of those who came to fish.
The sea was wavy and beautiful.
Sabah saatlerinde İzmir otogarından Kordon adlı semte geçtim.
Kordon deniz manzarasını izleyebileceğim bir alandı.
Kordon’a geldiğimde balık tutmaya gelenlerin hazırlık aşamalarına şahit oldum.
Deniz hafif dalgalı ve güzeldi.
I wanted to have my breakfast with Boyoz, the famous breakfast of Izmir.
While searching for places to eat Boyoz, Dostlar Bakery was the most recommended place on the internet.
I walked into this bakery.
Sabah kahvaltımı İzmir ilinin meşhur kahvaltılığı Boyoz ile yapmak istedim.
Boyoz yiyebileceğim yerleri araştırırken internette en çok önerilen yer olan Dostlar fırını oldu.
Bu fırına doğru yürüdüm.
I preferred mozzarella and spinach boyoz in this bakery where there are various kinds of boyoz.
This was a really tasty breakfast choice.
Çeşit çeşit boyozların olduğu bu fırında tercihim mozerella ve ıspanaklı boyozdan yana oldu.
Bu gerçekten lezzetli bir kahvaltı seçimiydi.
Then I set out to go to the visa appointment that was my main reason for coming.
I passed through the refreshing streets of Izmir and reached the consulate.
Ardından asıl geliş sebebim olan vize randevusuna gitmek üzere yola çıktım.
İzmir’in iç ferahlatan sokaklarından geçerek konsolosluğa ulaştım.
The intermediary company that I applied for my visa process took care of the first steps for me.
All I had to do was give fingerprints.
After spending a short time here, I wanted to continue my exploration of Izmir from where I left off.
Vize işlemlerim için başvurduğum aracı şirket benim için ilk aşamaları halletti.
Bana ise parmak izi vermek kalmıştı.
Kısa bir süre burada geçirdikten sonra İzmir keşfime kaldığım yerden devam etmek istedim.
For a coffee break, I sat at a roadside cafe that caught my eye.
I can say that the green chairs and the plant on the table called me.
Kahve molası için yol kenarında gözüme çarpan bir kafede oturdum.
Yeşil sandalyeler ve masanın üzerindeki bitki beni çağırdı diyebilirim.
Then I set out to go to Izmir's historical Kemeraltı bazaar.
It is said that this bazaar is the most beautiful place to see historical inns and to shop.
Ardından İzmir’in tarihi Kemeraltı çarşısına gitmek üzere yola çıktım.
Bu çarşının tarihi hanları görmek ve alışveriş yapmak için en güzel yer olduğu söyleniyor.
While walking through the crowd, I did not neglect to enter the shops that caught my attention.
This market has everything you can think of.
I didn't think it could be this extensive.
Clothing shops, spice shops, fruit aisles and more.
Kalabalığın içinde gezerken dikkatimi çeken dükkânlara girmeyi ihmal etmedim.
Bu çarşıda aklınıza gelebilecek her şey var.
Bu kadar kapsamlı olabileceğini düşünmemiştim.
Kıyafet dükkanları, baharat dükkanları, meyve reyonları ve daha fazlası.
Küçük Karaosmanoğlu Han, one of the historical inns, catches my eye.
This place is operated as a cafe and welcomes its visitors with live music.
Tarihi hanlardan biri olan Küçük Karaosmanoğlu Han gözüme çarpıyor.
Burası kafe olarak işletiliyor ve canlı müzik eşliğinde ziyaretçilerini ağırlıyor.
I feel tired after the bazaar tour.
And I want to end my day by going to Kultur park.
This park is a place where many activities take place in İzmir.
There are places such as amusement park, art center, museum and gym in the park.
Çarşı turundan sonra yorulduğumu hissediyorum.
Ve günümü Kültür parka giderek bitirmek istiyorum.
Bu park İzmir’de birçok aktivitenin gerçekleştiği bir yer.
Parkta lunapark, sanat merkezi, müze, spor salonu gibi yerler mevcut.
