Mumbo sauce is a sweet and spicy sauce that you can get at any Chinese food carry out in DC, It goes good on anything but is best on wings, fries and fried shrimp.
I chose to put the sauce on my preferred delivery method, a chicken wing.
The sauce was delicious, slightly sweet with a mild lingering spiciness almost like bbq sauce mixed with duck sauce and a dash of hot sauce. There was absolutely no earthy smell or flavor that is typical with cannabis edibles. I only ate the amount pictured because I am very familiar with the lady who runs District Bloom and she is very heavy handed when it comes to dosage and I am a heavy daily smoker.
After about an hour I could feel it starting to kick in, my muscles felt relaxed, my body felt much lighter than it typically does almost like I was gliding when I walked.
About an hour and a half in and I can honestly say that I couldn't feel the back of my eyeballs, I felt as though my body and my mind were at odds about the concept of gravity, my mind knows that gravity is a real thing but my body continued to float, I could move at a normal speed but slow motion felt so much better.
I basically felt like that until I went to sleep, when I woke up this morning I was definitely still high.
I admit I was smoking a little bit through out but definitely not what I normally would because every time I would take a bowl hit I it would just smack me in the face. All in all it lasted for about 18 hours and can be summed up as a mellow, euphoric sense of well being and body buzz so heavy that it separated my body from my soul. Definitely going to pick up more of this.
