A giant spot appeared on the surface of the sun facing Earth directly, scientists worry about what could be causing negative effects on the planet.
NASA has estimated the spot at about 120,000 kilometers, allowing it to be seen clearly from Earth.
According to the Daily Mail newspaper, space experts have warned of the large enough spot to produce a solar type M glare that could damage radio waves, satellite communications and cause radioactive storms.
A NASA observatory on sun observation observed the spot last week.
Sunspots frequently appear on the sun and appear to be more solid, areas of intense and complex magnetic fields. When their energy is released, a huge solar storm can affect the Earth.
