How many times have you told yourself that you are tired of struggling? You are sick of these long hours and little pay. Exhausted from providing for yourself and other, and just feeling like you should not have to struggle like this.... I know I've said it to myself at least 1000 times! In the past, I said this so much, because I didn't realize that struggle is just a part of life. "There is no such thing as a free lunch", my high school chemistry teacher would tell me, you have to work for everything you want in this life, and he was right!
I remember the first time I rode a bike without training wheels. I freaked out when I realized my dad had let go of the bike, crashed and my older brother was just laughing at me. Cried like a baby, yet that didn't stop me from getting back on that sucker! I was determined, and yes I had to struggle like ten times, but I did it. The accomplishment of not giving up, despite the struggle was the best feeling. What I'm getting at, is if you really want to do something in your life, you are going to get the cold shoulder, people are going to laugh and tell you your dreams are silly or too big. People are goin to want you to lose, yet 99.9% of those same people are going to act like they struggled with you too, because you are winning in life now.
You see, in order to succeed at something, you must first struggle. This is how we problem solve and learn from our miscalculations. Struggle is what helps to build us up, to make us who we are. So don't give up just because the struggle seems too hard at the time or you think you don't know what you are doing, because there will be success on the other end to greet you; no matter how long it takes!
