Time flies so fast. It was just fresh in my memory when we went to Maria Luisa Busay, Cebu to get my dog, Uno, whom we adopted from his original owner who was that time about to change residence and could not take Uno with him.
He posted at Cebu Dog Adoption group on social media and it was during that time when we just transferred to Lapu-lapu and it was a small house which was perfect to have a dog.
I posted that I needed to adopt a dog, then Uno’s original owner sent me a private message stating his situation and he also sent me photos of Uno back then.
When I saw the photos, I fell in love and I knew he was the perfect dog for me. From Lapu-lapu we traveled to Maria Luisa Busay to get him.
Since then, he became my best friend and my companion in all that I do.
And now, it has finally been a year of having him and we are now celebrating his first birthday, February 22,2025.
We got Uno his birthday cake and we prepared his favorite foods, chicken and fish. We also sang him his birthday song and wished him some birthday wishes.
We just hope and pray that Uno gets a longer and healthier life. I just hope dogs live longer like humans. They deserve all the time in this world too.
Uno loves to be carried around like a baby and when he does, he just behaves and sits their like a baby.
We all love Uno so much and we consider him a part of our family.
He really loves grilled chicken. That is why we prepared it today for his birthday.
For those who needs dogs or wants to get a dog, I really highly suggest you adopt one because there are a lot of dogs that needs an actual home. Like my dog, Uno, we adopted him and provided him a home and we love him so much.
