Being a teacher is one of the most tiring yet most fulfilling jobs indeed. Helping shape the learner’s future is indeed a crucial thing to do.
Recently, I have been so busy with all the school works and school forms we needed to prepare and submit.
One thing we did is we also did an Item Analysis. It is to check how many learners got the correct or wrong answer on that certain test question, it is also to check if that question is effective or not. **Item Analysis is an important thing we do after every periodic examination.
What we do during an Item Analysis is that I ask them who gets the correct answer for number one, the learners will raise their hands. Next, I will ask how many learners got the wrong answers for number one and then they will raise their hands and then it will continue until the last number of the test questionnaire.
I am glad my learners cooperated and we did it conveniently. It was time consuming but it was accomplished effectively since they all cooperated.
Some of my learners helped me out on counting the hands of whoever raised their hands which made the work easier.
This is done to check the effectivity of these test questionnaires. It was a successful Item Analysis.
