I've been absent a bit from Steemit. The reasons are clear for me. Frustration with the platform and the absence of community integration. As a fellow user might put it "I'm just not having Fun!
I found fun and community in an active forum Burstnation.com with a interested community and opportunity to grow. Right now with the depressed value of Steem, lack of direction or support, and in-fighting/flagging and a road-map that does not get very far down the road I could be a Bot here and earn more Steem than as a human individual. Sad!
Going to keep checking in, hoping for improvement. Yet, I expect unless the founders of this platform stop 'patty-caking' around in the Big Club - nothing serious will happen in the next 3-4 months.
Burstcoin has been blowing up over the past couple of weeks - many of the founders are 'active' and engaged with the community. Far from lazy or to "Intellectual" to help or assist a new community member. The coin has smart contracts, is quicker to exchange than BTC and does not require greater energy to mine ... Just Hard Drive Space - you can do it on an android phone. Community members on Burstnation are not 'elitist' or"Clicky" just looking to help or support the next member.
Please stop in and see what I am talking about. I doubt you will be disappointed. IMHO
