Mathias Andrés, mi segundo hijo y mi único hijo varón, definitivamente el príncipe de mamá, nos enteramos de su presencia en la semana numero 6 de gestación, pero no fue hasta la semana numero 12 cuando nos dijeron que el bebé venía con un quiste en un riñón, recuerdo que el doctor nos dijo que no era de preocupación puesto que el feto tenía buen tamaño, pero si de observación, a medida que iba avanzando el embarazo, mathias subia de peso y crecia en mi vientre de manera normal, pero el quiste también crecía, con un tamaño mayor, al que en ese momento el bebé presentaba.
El día de su nacimiento, el 11 de marzo de 2018, a eso de las 6:50 de la mañana, por una mala praxis, bajaron mi cordón umbilical y el niño se iba ahorcando dentro de mi, tuvieron que realizar una cesárea de emergencia, colocandome anestesi general y entubandome de manera rápida para poder sacarlo a él.
La pediatra que lo recibió en su nacimiento, una amiga mía de muchos años, me informa que no le toca absolutamente nada en el rión, sin embargo le mandó a realizar un eco a un día de nacido para descartar cualquier duda, en lo que se le realiza el exámen, se dan cuenta que uno de sus riñones no se formo, en vez de un riñón, había un bolsita de agua, por lo tanto la condición con la cual nació a nivel nefrológico se llama “HIDRONEFROSIS”, que no es más que una bolsa de agua en vez de un riñón, la cual va disminuyendo su tamaño y desaparece, quedan un solo riñón haciendo el trabajo de ambos.

On the day of his birth, March 11, 2018, at about 6:50 in the morning, due to a malpractice, they lowered my umbilical cord and the child was hanging inside me, they had to perform an emergency cesarean section, putting me under general anesthesia and intubating me quickly to be able to take him out.
The pediatrician who received him at birth, a friend of mine for many years, informed me that there was absolutely nothing wrong with his kidney, however, she sent him for an ultrasound one day after birth to rule out any doubts, while the test was being performed, they realized that one of his kidneys was not formed, instead of a kidney, there was a small bag of water, therefore the condition with which he was born at nephrological level is called "HYDRONEFROSIS", which is nothing more than a bag of water instead of a kidney, which is decreasing in size and disappears, leaving only one kidney doing the work of both.
Mathias nació con una talla y un peso excelente, y a DIOS gracias, asi continúa, la pediatra me indicó que nacer con un solo riñón afecta menos de lo que se piensa, porque al tener el conocimiento que solo tiene uno, la precausión para esto es mayor, así que la recomendación fue que cuidara su alimentación, evitando bebidas negras, embutidos y colorantes, cabe resalta que no es una eliminación de manera radical, es solo disminuirlo lo más que se pueda.
Mathias was born with an excellent size and weight, and thank GOD, he continues like this, the pediatrician told me that being born with only one kidney affects less than you think, because having the knowledge that he only has one, the precaution for this is greater, so the recommendation was to take care of his diet, avoiding black drinks, sausages and dyes, it should be noted that it is not a radical elimination, it is only to reduce it as much as possible.
Ya Mathias tiene 4 años, en la actualidad carece de lenguaje expresivo, es decir, aún no habla, para ello lo tenemos en terapia de lenguaje, asi como también lo esta tratando un neurólogo para ver de donde proviene esto y por la hiperactividad que presenta en su día a día.
Este año quisimos celebrarle su cumpleaños de una manera distinta, y es que nos fuimos a un pequeño parque que alquilan para peuqeñas fuiestas, nos pareció algo distinto, que lo iban a disfrutar todos, no habían muchos invitados, los niños no llegaban a 9, y el parque era lo suficientemente grande y cerrado para estar tranquilos y resguardados.
Tanto Mathias como sus hermanos disfrutaron al máximo.
Mathias is now 4 years old, he currently lacks expressive language, that is, he still does not speak, for this we have him in speech therapy, as well as a neurologist is treating him to see where this comes from and for the hyperactivity that he presents in his day to day life.
This year we wanted to celebrate his birthday in a different way, we went to a small park that they rent for small parties, we thought it was something different, that everyone would enjoy it, there were not many guests, the children were less than 9, and the park was big enough and closed to be calm and protected.
Both Mathias and his siblings enjoyed it to the fullest.

La hora de la piñata, todos gozaron, y por supuesto la canción de “dale a la piñata” no pudo faltar.

Fue tanto la diversión que hubo en el parque, los toboganes, las mallas, los sube y bajas, los túneles que yo solo pensaba en el momento de decir “nos vamos”, imaginé que iba a llorar por querer quedarse más tiempo en el lugar, sin embargo fue todo lo contrario, ya el cansancio era evidente y creo que cada uno se quería ir a descansar.
En lo que nos montamos en el carro, fue cómico el momento porque literalmente no habíamos rodado más de 200 metros cuando ya casi todos estaban dormidos, y cabe resaltar que el parque queda a escasos 10 minutos de nuestra casa.
There was so much fun in the park, the slides, the nets, the ups and downs, the tunnels that I only thought about the moment to say "we are leaving", I imagined that I was going to cry because I wanted to stay longer in the place, however it was the opposite, the tiredness was evident and I think that everyone wanted to go to rest.
As we got in the car, it was a funny moment because we literally had not rolled more than 200 meters when almost everyone was already asleep, and it is worth mentioning that the park is just 10 minutes away from our house.
Doy gracias a Dios por poder celebrar el cumpleaños número 4 de Mathias, en conjunto con sus hermanos y la familia más cercana, pido a DIOS mucha vida y salud para él, y que lo bendiga siempre.
