This week we have here in Holland finally a touch of the summer sun. The flowers that have been waiting for so long now come to full bloom in a few days and it is really beautiful to look around everywhere. All scents and colors blend into a feast for my eyes and nose. And of course I can't help but take my camera a bit more often.
Because I love the special style of Lensbaby, I screwed it on my camera about a week ago, and even now for these hollyhocks I have not screwed another lens on my camera.

Lensbaby is not the easiest lens to work with due to the tilt capability, and the fact that there is nothing automatic about this lens. Focusing is done manually which is not yet easy due to the tilt option. You control the diaphragm with diaphragm rings that you have to place in the Lensbaby. And if you are so stubborn that you want to use a 'creative diaphragm ring' with a beautiful star shape, then your diaphragm is automatically an F2, which of course ensures a very large DOF and a very small focal area. Bear in mind that the focus is manual with a raised lens.
All in all, I myself was satisfied after several attempts about these photos ... and in any case I enjoyed another opportunity to 'get rid of the world' and to immerse myself in what I prefer to do everything ".
