History of Aston Martin Vantage Heritage Racing

The Aston Martin Vantage is a series of hand-built GT. The first Vantage was presented during the Geneva Motor Show in 2005.

The Aston Martin Vantage Heritage Racing Edition is part of a limited edition of 60 units worldwide, of which only 12 are available in Gulf Blue, tribute to the DBR9 ⬇️ winning at Le Mans 24 Hours in 2007 and 2008) by the Aston Martin Racing factory team (source : Wiki).

The six different liveries of the Heritage Racing Editions were designed by Q by Aston Martin, the supreme customization service beyond the standard set of options of the British brand. These liveries are inspired by the most famous Aston Martin racing cars and were presented during the 2019 Goodwood Festival of Speed :

Each car had a special carbon fibre aero kit. The 6 liveries :

Razor Blade with unpainted aluminium bodywork, tribute to the car built in 1923in order to break the speed record by AC Cars (163 kmh). Although it failed to do so, it would achieve results in races and other record attempts in the 20's.
Ulster tribute to the last cars to run a 1.5 litre engine in 30's (finished third at Le Mans in 1935).
The third livery Green with yellow touch is a tribute to DB3S, first car of the David Brown era,
The white, blue and red livery matched the colours of Mobil, the sponsor of the AMR1, group C racing car, collaboration between Aston Martin and Team Ecosse.

This Aston Martin Vantage Heritage Racing is equipped with 4.0 litre twin turbo V8 producing 503 hp at 6,000 rpm. It can reach 100 kmh in just 3.6 seconds with a top speed of 306 kmh.
