Chapter 37: On braving the uncertainty + crochet workshop
Hi, friends! As some of you might know, I am a crochet artist. I love what I do, but I could say that it could feel repetitive sometimes. And being someone who is always hungry for something new, something else, and something beyond, I try to think of ways to elevate my journey as a crochet artist.
I started designing and selling patterns, and not too long ago, I dived into facilitating crochet workshops. As a teacher as well, handling crochet workshops is something I enjoy in a different level. It's like the baby of my teacher heart and artist heart. And I knew, I wanted to do it again and again. One of the places that I wanted to have the workshop was my hometown, Cebu. And guess what, friends? It's actually going to happen soon!
Yes, the Getting Hooked Workshop will be going to Ceebbuuu!! Wohoo! Honestly, as much as I am excited, I can't help but feel anxious as well. This move is quite a risk for me because I am not sure whether or not there will be people interested. The uncertainty is killing me, but I am willing to take it all. It's a risk worth taking, I guess? :)
I'm dropping the details here, in case you are from Cebu and is interested, or know someone who is interested in joining! Hehe
I really hope that this workshop will be a success. I am reminding myself to trust the process. :)
