2️⃣ What is the most extreme example of poverty you have ever seen?

At some point in an academic session, towards the end of a semester like during exam period. Without being told you notice a kind of dry attitudes amongst student. Whole some have exhausted their monthly allowance, some have spent it lavishly on unnecessary things and others don't just have.
This has affected me too, that was when I knew what extreme poverty really looked like. You can imagine when you don't have a dime, feeding becomes hectic then you always have to inhale your neighbors cooking to sustain your hunger.
It is so bad that whatever foodstuffs left in your cupboard is the regular life saving Cassava flakes called "garri" it is cheap and affordable, and when coming to school we tend to carry a large quantity of it.
I guess mine is still better, because I had a neighbor one time in school who uses whatever he sees to make food, that was when we gisted and I realized that people eat bread with noodles, or rice. Some eat several weird stuffs one can ever imagine.
Well, as a student, allowances are always sent one a month and we dare not disturb our parents throughout that month because it is believed that it should be sufficient for us. Except for important and emergency school problems. But these days, things are so expensive that even #30000 is not enough for a student anymore. Most students spend on books or handouts because they are expensive and compulsory and attendance will be taken, so what to do?
Thus, the worse poverty I have experienced is not having money and food at critical times.
I know people have worse experiences but trust me not have good food in a day or two as a student can be mind wrecking and not make one concentrate.
