It can never truly go forward because for every step she takes, they push her back five steps.
This malicious duo is like a new flu, each resurgence carrying the intent to ruin Mio, but always with brand new tricks. There's no vaccine for this, and one will never be immune.
Their games, insidious and relentless, would only end when Mio is finally carried out of that door in a body bag, blue and cold.
