Good day hivers, it's been a while since my last post so here I am with my belated birthday blog which filled my heart with so much love and surprises ☺️.
Since I was a kid I haven't celebrated my birthday with a nice cake or food on the table to celebrate my birthday but all I do on my birthday is just pray to God and thank him for another wonderful year He gave to me.
But everything changed when I got into a relationship and had kids my birthday is not the same as it was before.
Last October I celebrated my 31st birthday not just one celebration but I got two birthday suprised.
Since I used not to celebrate my birthday and I always forgot about it, when I wake up early in the morning maybe it's around 5 in the morning, because of the birthday song sung by my kids and birthday greetings by my husband which made my day.
After that I prepared for school just like I usually do every day without thinking about what happened on that day when I got to school I immediately got my notebook to study since we had a midterm exam on that day.
While I was studying, my closest classmate left but I didn't notice that they left because I was too focused on the notes and how to get all of it into my brain 😆.
And I was not bothered why they left me, Yet the reason why they left was because they had something for me☺️
After I while all of my classmates looked at me as my closest classmates entered our room with a box.
I confused about what is in a box since I did not put on social media my birthday and there is no one knows my birthday was aside from my family and friends.
First, I was hesitant to open it because I wondered if it was a prank or what since we used to play prank to each other and I kept saying it was not my birthday. To make everything settled I open the box when I opened the box the first thing that I saw was the notes so I thought it was a prank so I continued opening the box after that I saw a happy birthday gift bag.
Then all my classmates sang a birthday song for me but I kept myself not crying and I just smiled the whole time.
They also bought me 6 Coke sodas represented by my closest classmates and a Coke cake they really know me because I am a cokecaholic ☺️ also one of my friends made me a crochet sunflower which is one of my favourite flowers.
Since we are on a tight budget I don't expect anything from my family since I kept saying to my husband that I don't want to celebrate birthdays since we are on a tight budget and it is a waste of money and greetings are okay for me.
But when my husband got home I didn't notice that she cooked bihon and bought me a cake that day I am the most grateful person on earth because God gave people that treasure and value to me.
Open Letter for myself
Coleen on your 31st birthday I wish that you love yourself and be happy as always. I know God has a plan for you just wait for it. The journey may not be easy but I know in God's perfect time it will be paid off just trust in him.
