When you live in a touristic place that is surrounded by beautiful beaches and jungles, it might seem weird that my boyfriend and I wanted to go on vacation in a big city, that is different from this heaven looking place we live in. Especially, when usually it's the other way around, people from big cities come to our town, because they want a relaxing vacation on a exotic untouched beach.
So, why did we chose to go on vacation in a big busy city full of skyscrapers? Well, when you live in a small town, far away from the city, you don't have all the comfort and conveniences. We don't have the big city's facilities, like malls, fast internet and neither fast food restaurants (sometimes you just want to put some junk food in your system).
But, it doesn't mean that I'm willing to trade my beach/jungle life with monkeys in back yard for big city life...I just willing to take a break for few days.
