Me ha pasado con colegas, familiares y amigos, en ciertas ocasiones pues he tenido que defender mi punto de vista pero es complicado cuando las personas son completamente radicales.

Me pasó con una colega ambas estudiamos en la misma universidad pero ella sigue una corriente más mutiladora pues es cirujana bucal sus conceptos son más radicales a la hora de dar un diagnóstico, los míos son más conservadores trato por todos los medios salvar lo que tenga la posibilidad de salvarse.

En este orden de ideas no podemos decir que el concepto de cada una sea errado o sea el acertado, cada quien expones sus razones para expresar un concepto, la idea no es que cambie sus argumentos la idea es comprender los puntos de vista del otro pero con razonamiento no imponiendo tu verdad por encima de la verdad de otra persona.

Creo que la comunicación acertiva es la clave, luego de esto la capacidad de comprensión, análisis y desernimiento para comprender el punto de vista del otro, pero para ello debemos exponer los puntos lo más claros posible, ahora discutir con una persona que no te de la oportunidad de poder exponer tus puntos es complicado y lo peor que no tome encuenta tus conocimientos.

El caso era que un paciente nos solicito salvarle su diente, clínicamente esta muy comprometido, con procesos infecciosos y bacterianos repetitivos, con el soporte periodontal comprometido, pero yo veía una posiblidad pero mi colega no.

Pienso que si existe la posiblidad y el paciente opta por esa opción pues hay que hacerlo, en la vida no puedes ser tan radical por que no sabes si puedes llegar a tener éxito, no podemos tratar las situaciones de forma tan tajante.

Pues en la discusión del caso, entre varios colegas cada quien colocó su punto de vista, hay que ver que es lo mejor para solucionar el caso, allí tenemos que mediar y la mediación empieza por bajar un poco la guardia ser empático, comunicarse de manera acertiva, ver el porcentaje de posibilidad y la respuesta biológica del paciente.

Pero al querer imponerse por sentirse más capacitado, por llevar la contraria o simplemente por querer tener siempre la razón te coloca en un lugar muy poco aceptable ya que eso no te da ninguna potestad, a veces debes bajarte de tu pedestal personal para darte cuenta que las demás personas son seres pensantes inteligentes, y que ante todo estamos trabajando para conseguir mismo objetivo entonces por que poner tantas trabas.

La reglas existen pero siempre hay excepciones inclusos las leyes las tienen, y hoy estoy aquí mañana puedo estar allá el mundo da muchas vueltas.

Ahora puedes defender muy firmemente tus puntos de vista pero no son absolutos, al final el paciente decidió salvar el diente con todo y las contraindicaciones, puede ser que esté equivocada pero puede ser que sea un éxito, la cuestión está en asumir, igual necesitamos de mi amiga cirujana para realizar la regeneración ósea del diente, dar el tiempo de espera que se de la estimulación de formación de hueso y que el diente vuelva a tener soporte para mantenerlo el mayor tiempo posible en boca.

En toda situación hay sólo dos posibilidades, que salga bien o que salga mal, el hecho es que nadie tiene la verdad absoluta en sus manos, hay que saber que en la vida hay situaciones donde debes dar tu brazo a torcer a pesar de tu criterio, puede ser que al final tenga razón y el diente se pierda pero nunca hay que subestimar a la otra persona, por más que te sientas con más razón a veces no es la razón sino hacer lo mejor para el paciente.

Esto puede suceder en cualquier momento y en cualquier aspecto de tu vida darnos cuenta que no tenemos la razón absoluta nos hace ser más empáticos, la idea es seguir creciendo y aprendiendo.

Hay personas que cambian y te ven como si tu criterio no sirve pero no se dan cuenta que con esa actitud lo que consigue es que se aisle, me pasó en mi trabajo mi coordinador me hacia la vida imposible creyó que siempre iba a estar por encima de mí y luego de un tiempo fui yo su coordinadora así que aferrarse a que siempre se esté arriba te puede crear muchos problemas cuando estés de bajada, por eso no hay que olvidar esa lección.

Por ahora estoy esperando el día de la cita del paciente para comenzar su plan de tratamiento, con la seguridad de que será un éxito no para retregarsela a mi colega sino por el bien del paciente y un triunfo de los que creemos en la conservación en mejor un diente propio que uno artificial.
