Hi everybody!

Lately, I've been asked to draw a fan art of Vampirella to illustrate a article in a magazine called Blandice. Today, I'll share with you the steps of this illustration.

First, the line!
I directly drew on a new file in Photoshop, no pencil here.
As you can see, I tried many versions of the hair. I enjoyed every one, but I had to respect the character, so steps 3 and 5 were too far trom the original Vampirella. Step 4 was ok, but I thought step6 was a bit more dynamic (even if the pose is static...)

Once the line was ok, I began the colors. That was not easy, because it's a color range I'm don't often use...

At this point, I thought it was too red and too flashy to fit the character, so I desaturated the colors, and added more yellow and green with the color balance.

And here is the final result with some last level adjustements!

I hope you liked it, because It's a very cool character to draw!

And if you enjoy my work, please don't forget to upvote, resteem, and follow. Thank you!

See you soon with a new painting!
