The street lights in Logan square move past my periphery faster and faster until they are just long orange streaks on either side of my face and suddenly we are in space and the stars are all floating around us towards another planet with big pink and blue snow capped mountains and a glittering gold lake and tall teal grass that comes up to my waist with diamond dew drops. I can lie down and see stars in sky when the sun is still shining because there isn’t any light pollution here there is enough light everywhere for everyone. Even when the colors dim everything glows. I laugh out the remainder of horror from the last planet I came from like knocking two dusty books together. I am safe, I am safe, I am safe. I take a breath and 528 hz fills up my whole body. thick joy swells in my abdomen. tears run in a smooth stream out of my eyes, down past my temples and into the deep blue soil.
