Sakrebailu Elephant Camp is located in Shimoga district ,Karnataka (ndia).
You can see number of elephants and these will be trained by experienced Mahouts (a person who works with and rides an elephant.). Elephants from the nearby forests come to this place to take bath in Backwaters of River Tunga before they go back to the forest.
TIMINGS: 8.30 A.M to 11 A.M. And if u go there before 9 A.M you get to see them taking bath. But we couldn't reach there on time. But got to watch the elephants being fed and the training session.
Please do not pollute the place by throwing waste, plastic, bottles and other garbage. Don't carry extra foods like Bananas or other fruits. We can feed the food which is prepared by mahouts.
Entry Fee: Rs 30 for Indians and Rs 100 for Foreigners.
Elephant Ride: For adults INR 75/- and for kids (5-13) is INR 38/-
